“All but one I preclude.”
Emblemata // M.C. Escher
With thought or without care, choose your path freely: Once you have chosen it, every other will be closed to you.
We make multiple choices and decisions daily, almost at every moment.
From the moment we wake up, we can choose to continue to stay in bed or get out of bed immediately to start our day; choosing what to wear for the day; what to eat for breakfast; what to do for the day; to be productive or to waste the day away and binge on shows, videos and games, etc…
If we choose to start our day with eagerness, we will most likely to have enough time to have our breakfast or grab a cup of coffee before we head out for work and even may have a more productive day.
Like right now, I chose to stop using my phone and waste my time away to continue pursuing the dream of a self-help writer.
Any choice we make at any moment, will lead us to a different outcome.
– Kallivanter
It will be wise to make our choices wisely.
There may be times where we will tend to make the “wrong” choice – but that there are actually no wrong roads.
Most of the time, we are meant to make the wrong choices so that we can learn from our mistakes and gain certain experiences.
Those we deem as “wrong choices” are what made us wiser and stronger.
Those experiences that we gained are what shaped us today.
When the outcome is not favourable, there’s no point pointing fingers at others because of the choice you’ve decided to make.
Even if others might have tried influencing you in making your choice, you always have the rights to choose to stay firm on your ground.
Your life, your choice.
– Kallivanter
You have the rights to choose how you want to live your life.
However, be responsible for the all of the choices that you decided to make.
For no one else is responsible for the choices we made, other than ourselves.
No matter what the outcome is due to the choices that we’ve made, we should learn to take the responsibilities for them.
May we all learn to take responsibility for our life.
